The Heart of My Essay: Dear Chair,
The day I first laid eyes on you, dear chair, marked the beginning of a unique relationship. You seamlessly integrated into my life, offering comfort that eased my worries in fleeting moments of respite.
Over time, as we both aged gracefully, I noticed subtle changes in our dynamics. Your efforts to soothe me were apparent, yet amidst the whirlwind of thoughts in my mind, clarity often fel
But amidst these shifts and uncertainties, I find solace in you—a silent witness to my journey. Just as a child finds home and security with their parents, you, dear chair, are my sanctuary.
In your presence, I rediscover the essence of safety and calm, reminiscent of the warmth of home.
This picture poem is an original one that I wrote first, with silly mistakes, but I like it 🌸
Backstory:
On a reflective day, 07/07/2020, I pondered deeply on the concept of "Home." What does home mean?
To me, home embodies a space of acknowledgment, comfort, peace, and joy—a place where adulthood retreats, leaving room for vulnerability and strength. This introspection led me to realize that true communication lies in connection—a connection I express through art—the art of life, the art of expression through journals and written words.
