The messenger of liberation can arrive at any moment.
It must arrive, because liberation is destined for you. The tragedy is not that it might not come; the real misfortune would be that it came… and you failed to recognize it.
Follow the Light, However Faint
The mind’s seasons shift just as nature does. Even in the peak of summer, there is always a moment of cool relief before dawn. In the monsoon, the skies are not always overcast, sometimes, they clear just enough to show you the infinite blue. Life, too, grants us intervals of calm amidst chaos. And those moments, however fleeting, hold profound meaning.
Think of that gentle breeze at dusk after a scorching day, it’s not just air, it’s grace. That sunlight breaking through winter’s chill feels like a celebration, not because it’s powerful, but because it is rare. Just like a drop of water in the deserts, its scarcity becomes its value.
Surely, you too find brief moments of peace in your day, maybe ten minutes of stillness, or one conversation that lightens the heart. Begin there. You may feel trapped, powerless, surrounded by shadows, but if there’s even the faintest glimmer, move toward it. Don’t dismiss it because it seems small. Even winter’s sunlight has its warmth.
Start where you are. Ask yourself honestly:
When and where does even a flicker of peace show up in my life?
Don’t miss those chances. In those quiet pockets, freedom is waiting. So be ready. The opportunity for release, the whisper of healing, it can appear at any moment. It will appear.
Let Not Despair Blind You
Do not let despair gain such a hold over you that you ignore the light when it comes. Don’t keep mourning your circumstances while life stands in front of you, offering a way through. If the moment is here; grasp it. Because that moment is life.
Be vigilant. Stay open. You’ve missed many chances before; don’t miss this one.
In a world often weighed down by noise, chaos, and constant motion, we forget that serenity isn’t something grand; it’s found in slivers, like twilight between storms. I’ve learned that healing doesn’t arrive with a grand announcement. It comes softly, like a breeze, a word, a feeling. And unless we’re present, we’ll overlook it again and again.
This piece is a reminder to myself, and perhaps to you, that light always finds a way in. Our work is simply to be willing to turn toward it, no matter how faint, and take the next step with hope.
With Hope and Light,
