This is about you, writing the story of your life
I thought I would achieve so much more by now. Why doesn’t anything work out for me?
..
If there is one thing that is certain, it’s that we are all far more capable than we realize. We all have the potential to achieve incredible, beautiful things.
The human soul is limitless. Because of this, we are capable of limitless love, kindness, innovation, and progress.
But what we believe about ourselves tends to get in the way. We consistently stop ourselves from accessing new levels of happiness and success, simply because we don’t believe we are worthy of such abundance.
What you believe about yourself is a very powerful thing. It has the ability to dictate your entire life.
Think of it this way: people who are not good leaders often become prominent in society simply because they believe they are extremely capable and effective, even if they are far from qualified for the job.
In the same way, people who would otherwise be kind, competent, and impactful leaders never reach a high level because they don’t allow themselves to see their own potential. They might assume someone else will do a better job, when in reality they were the person who could have made a real difference.
Your beliefs about who you are and what you deserve will rule your life.
Your beliefs about who you are and what you deserve will rule your life. If you believe you are worthy of good things, good things are more likely to occur for you. If you believe you are less than capable and deserving, your life will shift to reflect those negative opinions.
This is about you, writing the story of your life. You alone hold the pen, and what you believe about yourself will determine what you are able to create (and not create) during this lifetime.
You alone hold the pen, and what you believe about yourself will determine what you are able to create.
The thoughts you think to yourself, about yourself, don’t go unnoticed. Every little thing you say to yourself matters.
It’s time to change your mindset from nothing works out for me, I’m never enough, I don’t know if I belong, to thoughts that are vibrant, self-healing, and full of love.
Every little thing you say to yourself matters. It’s time to change your mindset from ‘I’m never enough’ to ‘I am always enough.
Everything always works out for me.
I am always enough.
I am loved and I belong.
Right now, take a moment to audit the way you speak to yourself. What is your knee-jerk reaction when you make a mistake at work, when you drop a glass on the floor, or when you say something you wish you hadn’t? Do you immediately shame yourself? Do you instantly reach for judgment and self-criticism?
In order to begin writing a different story for yourself, you must begin doing one essential thing on a daily basis:
Loving yourself.
The human soul is limitless. We are capable of limitless love, kindness, and progress.
It sounds simple enough, but I think everyone reading this can agree that loving yourself is no easy task (especially if you have spent many years on the opposite end of the spectrum). Our world trains us from the time we are very young to be harsh and critical with ourselves in every way. But this is no way to build self-esteem and confidence.
Be less critical of who you are. Give yourself a soft place where you can always safely land.
Try to be more cognizant and intentional when it comes to the way you talk to your own mind. There is only room for love here. Nothing good can grow unless you water it with patience, care, and kindness. Be less critical of who you are. Give yourself a soft place where you can always safely land.
Love is the one thing that will set you free, that will allow you to unlock the life you’ve always dreamed of. It will heal your past and struggles, creating a new way of being for you— one where everything works out, patience and forgiveness comes easily, and new abundance knocks on your doorstep every morning.
Love is the one thing that will set you free, allowing you to unlock the life you’ve always dreamed of.
This may sound too good to be true, but it’s not. The power of love is the realest thing out there.
Approach yourself with love.
Believe that you are worthy of a good life. Watch that good life unfold before your eyes.
I’m rooting for you.
With gratitude,
🤍
