"All you have to do is speak from your soul..."
It doesn’t matter where, when, or how— prayer is prayer, and it is always available to you. All you have to do is speak from your soul.
I could say so many things to you.
I could tell you that the part of my day I cherish most is waking up with gratitude for this meaningful and purposeful life.
I can tell you that I only started finding myself when I decided to become a person who only wanted to feel true to myself work on myself and make me a better human and at peace. (even though everyone judged it doesn’t matter).
I could tell you that whenever I feel sad or down, the only thing that brings me a sense of peace is direct communication with that which is greater than me.
But what I want to say most of all to you, is that you can pray however you want to pray.
There is no rule book.
There is no right or wrong way. A prayer is whatever you want it to be.
It can be a grateful thought.
A simple request.
A short meditation.
A sincere moment of love.
A single word.
It doesn’t have to be big or complicated. You don’t have to go to a church, mosque, or temple. All that is required is that you begin your prayer to connect and heal.
Ask for help. Ask for healing. Express gratitude. Pray for a loved one. Pray for the world. Pray for a stranger. Maybe it’s not exactly cool or trendy to talk about in our modern world, but prayer is a powerful tool that changes lives for the better.
This is a direct conversation you are having with the source (God, the universe, love, or whatever you wish to call what is holiest to you).
You are actively participating in a sacred connection that can never be broken. Our spirituality, whether we recognize it or not, is at the core of who we are.
Every one of us is a spiritual being living a human life. Because of this, we are capable of far more than we realize.
C.S. Lewis once wrote, “You are a soul; you have a body.”
So, feed your soul.
Allow yourself to find that sacred peace every day within prayer.
Even if you pray for just a moment.
Close your eyes and ask for healing.
It makes a difference. 💛
May you spread well-being everywhere you go,
With Gratitude,
💛
This is SO beautiful!! Growing up prayer felt like it had to have a certain structure and needed to “look” a certain way. I love this invitation to simplify what once felt so complex and lean into this spiritual practice in ways that feel soul-nurturing. 💖
This is energy that the world needs. Thank you
