This is SO beautiful!! Growing up prayer felt like it had to have a certain structure and needed to “look” a certain way. I love this invitation to simplify what once felt so complex and lean into this spiritual practice in ways that feel soul-nurturing. 💖

Thank you, Catherine. Yes, prayer often felt like it had to follow a set structure, but embracing a simpler, more personal approach makes it feel so much more soul-nurturing and meaningful.

When I pray I am having a conversation with my God. I struggle with praying, not prayer. Praying out loud in a group and verbally saying what is on my heart is the problem. It's something I should be praying about!

Thank you, Karen, for saying that it's not a problem, as I write. There is no right or wrong way. A prayer is whatever you want it to be. And if you also call a conversation what you have with god or Higher self.

It doesn't have to be loud it's just what you feel better about.

I work with women who are in various stages of healing and we tend to pray for one another. I admire the women and men whose prayers are eloquent. So my problem isn’t pray per say but publicly praying. If that makes sense.🤔

Sorry if I misunderstood earlier. I haven't personally experienced public praying, but I can understand how it might feel different. Since you're working with others in healing through prayer, I imagine you're deeply connected with them in those moments. I'm not sure if I expressed this clearly, but I hope it resonates with what you were saying.
