Loved your piece. I truly think we posses the power of change because we're ourselves are not acting as ourselves due to societal norms and brainwashing since childhood. We actually don't know what we are.

This was lovely, Neha. One part was particularly for me: For example, grief in response to a loved one’s passing is not only natural but also healing. It allows us to acknowledge loss, feel deeply, and eventually move forward with grace.... today is Mother's Day. My mother died on Mother's Day several years ago and I still feel it deeply...another sentence: We must not label our emotions as good or bad but instead learn to discern their impact on our wellbeing. A great bedtime story. You are my 188th! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing something so personal. I can only imagine how layered this day must feel for you—grief and love so closely intertwined. I'm truly honored that those lines spoke to you in that way. Your reflection is a reminder of the quiet strength in allowing ourselves to feel fully. Wishing you peace and gentleness today and always. Thank you for including mine in your beautiful journey. 💛
This is lovely. I especially like that one is not stuck. So many people believe otherwise. What you speak of I find in yoga. I take five classes/week. It is where I delve deep into myself and find the quiet peace. Thx for sharing. You are my 136th in my story circle as it is now being referred to. It was a great bedtime story. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words—your message truly touched me. I love that you've found such deep inner peace through yoga. It’s amazing how practices like yoga and writing gently lead us back home to ourselves. I’m honored to be a part of your story circle—what a beautiful and meaningful idea. Sending gratitude and stillness your way as we continue walking this shared path of reflection.
Gosh what a powerful piece of writing and I totally agree with you. I found this so beautiful and have saved it to keep coming back to. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me! I’m so glad the piece spoke to you and that you’ve saved it to revisit—that’s the highest compliment. Truly grateful for your kind words and support!
So perfectly well stated. The explanation of acceptance vs apathy, being happy with what is without forfeiting ambition- that part I will hold onto for a long time. Thank you!

Love this: contentment is not resignation—it is the peace that arises when we stop chasing what doesn’t matter.
Thank you. I am glad you connect. 🌸
Beautiful piece , Neha. Change is often temporary but transformation is lasting.
It does take intention, attention, conviction and vigilance as you mention.
And one more thing that is often an ingredient people overlook : it takes guidance and support .
We don’t have to do this life alone. We can call on those that walk this path and carry the wisdom of the ancient teachings to guide us. ✨🙏🏻🌸
Thank you for this beautifully inspiring piece to transform.
Thank you so much. I am glad you resonate and connect.
Everything in this resonates with my life now.
Thank you Uma! I'm really glad it's resonates with you . keep learning.
Saved to read this later. Subbed.
Thank you .
I love the Dalai Lama's wisdom.
I've been thinking about his saying, in a world of hardship: "I laugh often, and my laughter is contagious [...] I am a professional laugher."
Such a beautiful quote—thank you for sharing it. I love the idea of being a “professional laugher.” There’s real healing in that.
